Qaphsiel is a bit at odds with his job. He is the Angel of the Moon and guides it course and its effects on the tides, including the tides of the human body. It is he who determines the magnitude of the desires of the flesh as determined by the moon. And, yet, he is the Angel of Temperance. To assuage his guilt over leading men into temptation, he is sometimes willing to banish one's enemies, whatever those enemies happen to be.
