I love long tunnels like this. We don't have all that many near me, in fact I'm not sure there are any lol, but when I lived up country we used to get to go through some every now and then and it was great. Although what was waiting on the over side was never as exciting as I'd hoped lol
I went through the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel in March, and took some pictures similar to these. That particular tunnel makes me nervous, so I took the pictures as a distraction.
I used to have a massive phobia of tunnels as a child. Which must have been loads of fun for my parents, getting stuck in traffic in the Lincoln Tunnel with a child screaming for the duration of the time spent in the tunnel.....
That is one long tunnel. I'm surprised nobody said "hope you weren't driving when you took that picture" so I'll say it: "Hope you weren't driving when you took that picture."
Our tunnel shots are always blurry...
ReplyDeleteAlex: Gotta go fast.
DeleteThe blue lights make me feel like I've entered the world of Tron. ;)
ReplyDeleteCrystal: Well, that was a light cycle I was on.

ReplyDeleteJoss: We don't actually have any right around me, either. The nearest are in San Francisco, and most of those are rather short.

ReplyDeleteM.J.: Wait... bridge tunnel? Um... Is it a bridge or a tunnel?
DeleteThis tunnel needs more zombies.
ReplyDeleteMichael: I think it had sufficient zombies. They are all out of frame as we were getting away from them.
DeleteOn my light cycle.
I love tunnels (although being somewhat claustrophobic is a problem)
ReplyDeletePlus it is fun to imagine what is on the other side.
cheers, parsnip and thehamish
parsnip: There's grass on the other side! Green, green grass!

ReplyDeleteMich: That does sound... well, it would have given me, as a parent, my own phobia of tunnels.
DeleteAnother nice one. They way it looks, it almost seems like it goes on forever.
ReplyDeleteJeanne: It does go one forever. I'm still in it.
DeleteTAS: Thanks.

ReplyDeleteBriane: I was not the one driving. Driving and operating my phone is not really in my skill set.
