The New Blogger

I  hate the new blogger interface.
The labeling system is completely worthless now and takes about five minutes to apply one label. Considering that I'm kind of a huge fan of labels, it takes an unreasonable amount of time to apply labels to my new posts.
I'm just not doing it.
At least not right now.
That's all I have to say about this at the moment.
I hate the new interface.

Also, what the fuck with the redirect notice every time I click on someone's post. That's annoying as hell.

Yes, I hope the folks at google read this, since they have no other real avenue for feedback.

  1. I KNOW!!! The label thing crashed when I tried to label one of my etymology posts, which always have lots of labels. Plus the awful paragraph spacing. This is such a horrible change.

    1. Yes, the spacing is awful. I switched back to the old interface - it is an option if you scroll down. I also sent them a note telling them not to switch me back unless they fix the spacing thing. Seriously, it would be enough to switch to WordPress for me!

    2. Jeanne: Yeah, I've had freezing and crashing problems when trying to use it, too.
      So...

TAS: I did revert back to the old interface.
Not that I think it really matters since they are saying they are making the new interface the only option sometime soon, which is why I tried it out.
But it really doesn't work at all.

  2. OMG, I hate the labels. I've managed to figure out most of the rest of it. Not too terrible, really. (Not great, as most worked better before, but I was dealing.) But the labels. . . Yikes.

    1. Liz: I understand that they're trying to make the interface more mobile friendly, but geez...
Did they not even test this stuff before making it live?
