TAS: Relatively close? I'm assuming I took that one with my camera, not my phone, which has an okay lens. So I was either a few feet away with my phone (which I have done before with some of the crows), or I was 10-15 feet away with my camera.
10-15, wow! I don't think I've ever managed to get that close. The chickadees at our feeders are shockingly fearless. Otherwise, birds are awfully nervous in my experience.
TAS: I have a picture I've posted of a crow where it let me stand within two feet. The title has something to do with a closeup. I was surprised, but "he" just really posed for me. I only had my phone with me, and, I guess, he knew I needed to be close if he wanted me to capture his good side.
Handsome lad. Or lady. Hard to tell with crows.
ReplyDeleteTAS: Yeah, and I didn't ask.
DeleteI'm impressed you were able to get so close! Either that or you have an amazing telephoto lens. And a steady hand.
