What We Have Here...

...is a failure to communicate.

But it was entirely my fault.
The original post is here. You should probably take a look at it, because it's full of a bunch of pictures and actors and authors and stuff. Then, you can go here and find out what I was trying to communicate in that post.
Because it's the author's job to communicate in a way that his audience will understand, and I clearly didn't do that with the post in question.

So hop over to Indie Writers Monthly.

  2. I'm there at the site. And I agree with Michael. It's just our comprehension that gets a bit off at times.

  4. A picture's worth a thousand words, but not always the particular thousand words you intend.

  5. Crystal: I think my brain has just run out of energy. Too many demands makes it squishy.

Michael: Usually, yes, but you can't pitch a perfect game every time (see all the baseball influence on me, right now).

Lee: Well, you know, when I was putting that post together, I knew I might run into some trouble with the lack of words, but I went with it anyway.

TAS: I wonder how you measure the worth of a thousand words. I think that must be marketing at its finest.

  6. A controversial point Andrew and a thought provoking topic.

  7. Maurice: I hope it's thought-provoking, but I hadn't thought of it as controversial.

  8. Left a comment (Ok, two) on the Indie Writers page. Good post! Never put that correlation together before.

  9. Jean: It was just a stray thought I had. I'm glad I caught it.
