Not to mention all the writer movies where the writer is some sort of antisocial genius looking down on society from a place of enlightened (and often depraved) understanding. I really enjoy those movies. I also know that barely any writer actually is like that.
ReplyDeleteWhile male authors are much better looking on screen than in real life, I think the real truth is that men in general are just uglier than women.

Alex: But I don't think that explains why we need to make women look more plain when they play writers while we choose really good looking men to play them.
