  1. Humanity has long surmised that our greatest challenges, as evolution brings other species into the sentience fold, would be from lower primates, or perhaps insects. If only we had watched the invertebrates more closely, we might have been able to stop the advent of Cephalopodus Ambulare, the species we once jokingly referred to as "Land Squid," joking only until the day they enslaved us all.
