The Tea Kettle
There's a story behind "The Tea Kettle," but today is not the day you get to hear it. No, today is the day you get to go read "The Tea Kettle," which is a story. But not the whole story nor the story behind the story. Look, just hop over to Out of Print, sign up for the email notifications for when there's a new story posted, and read mine. Then, you can even go back and read some of the others. Mostly, they're not too long, not even mine, so do your brain a favor and go do some reading.

Sure!
ReplyDeleteTHAT WAS GREAT!
ReplyDeleteSeriously! I tweeted a link to it right away from the page. It was one of those stories where I thought "Oh, I wish I'd thought of this!" I loved it. I want more stories like that.
Plus, it was different from what I usually see from you -- not that that's bad. I always figured you had a lot of range, and now I am beginning to see just how much.
EXCELLENT story.
Delightful story. I really enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteAlex: Awesome!
ReplyDeleteBriane: I'm glad you liked it. Wait till you see the murder mystery thing I'm doing. Now, that is different from everything else you've seen from me. (But it's still a while off, because I have to finish Brother's Keeper before I finish it.)
Jo: Thanks!
I did the email thing but I also just followed it because that's easier for me to keep track of;
ReplyDeleteI can't read now though because I have to get ready for work but I promise I will when I get home and start my four-day weekend! Yaaaayyyyy!
RG: Well, I'll be waiting to hear what you think of it.
ReplyDeleteHA!
ReplyDeleteI loved this story!
I'm pretty sure I had a huge grin on my face the entire time I was reading this...still do, in fact. Pretty amazing, what you did there!
RG: I'm glad you liked it! The whole thing should be available soon.
ReplyDeleteI know I'm a few days late replying but I'm not sure if the story was a dream or just vivid imagination but even with my own attention deficit I enjoyed reading it.
ReplyDeleteG_G: I'm glad you did.
ReplyDeleteI'm not adding any commentary about it at the moment since there is still more to come.
Read it! Great story. Very trippy. It did remind me of myself whenever I'm around kids. Even if this was all a
ReplyDeletedream.
Rusty: I suppose it will be up, in the end, to the reader to decide what it is, dream or not.
