Nuriel
Nuriel is the "Fire of the Lord" who sends down rains of fire upon the land. He was there at the destruction of Sodom. But he is an Angel of contradiction for he also commands some aspects of water and can bring down hailstorms. He commands an army of Angels made of fire and water. He often takes the form of a great eagle as he flies over the Earth.

Women as angels? I guess I never thought of any being women. Although angels are not made in the image of God like we are, so they really aren't male or female.
ReplyDeleteAlex: Christianity has white-washed the Hebrew mythology. And you are incorrect about angels not being in the image of God. When God made man, speaking to the Angels, He said he would make man in "our" image.
DeleteKind of funny that he commands both fire and water...
