That's actually the goal, to make enough at it so that it is "a job."Andrew Leonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13964775673414653644noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7658526372996117205.post-24063630452973125252012-10-25T17:46:14.113-07:002012-10-25T17:46:14.113-07:00Yeah, I'm a big believer in writing what you&#...Yeah, I'm a big believer in writing what you're interested in. If you don't it will probably start feeling a lot like a job.

When I was young and I dreamed of being a rock star, one of my good friends was hired by a small label to write for the new acts that they would sign. So they would bring in an artist and say to him, "now you go and write their album."

So, he ended up hating life for it, he wasn't doing what he wanted, he didn't like it at all and ended up quitting after a few albums to be a construction worker. I hope I keep that forever.

Shannon Lawrencehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00934641808195675935noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7658526372996117205.post-71432841867381531622012-10-25T11:56:15.599-07:002012-10-25T11:56:15.599-07:00I wrote in a lot of different genres before I sett...I wrote in a lot of different genres before I settled into fantasy/spec fiction. My problem is I like a wide range of stuff, historical fiction probably being my favorite to read. But my imagination really likes playing with fantasy what ifs, so I'll probably stay with it for awhile. Luanne G. All the painting and stuff is just a different kind of boredom from writing. It's got to be soooo boring to put all that together. Just like my dad was really into trains but he could never interest my brother and I in it because it just seemed really, really boring, especially since we had video games by that point.PT Dillowayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09394481476862013009noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7658526372996117205.post-65016480614715971572012-10-25T03:46:45.740-07:002012-10-25T03:46:45.740-07:00Oils take forever to dry.
